Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup confirmed that Christian Fassnacht and Tony Springett have returned to training with the squad ahead of the Canaries' trip to Cardiff City.
Following the 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon, it's a trip to south Wales next for Norwich.
Hoff Thorup said: "No real concerns, we now have a couple of days of training to prepare and develop and improve. Coming out of the game Sunday, players are feeling well.
"Tony Springett and Christian Fassnacht have been back in with the group, Springett is a name we haven't heard in a while but he's been fighting hard to come back.
"We've had a good amount of players in training this week and it's important for us to have options.
"With Marcelino (Núñez), we have to be careful, it's for us to make a decision when he is a little closer to a return.
"Barnsey (Ashley Barnes) is the same, he will be with the group after international break.
"Angus (Gunn) is another one that we don't want to bring back too early, we are being cautious and we have to build him up fitness-wise and when he comes back we have to be sure it can't be too big a risk."
After initially going ahead, the Canaries fought back from 3-1 down at Carrow Road to pick up a point against Middlesbrough.
"Some games are just a huge step in where we want to go and building a culture here. I think we can really use these games, the team spirit and mentality in the group is fantastic."
Kenny McLean will miss the next three Sky Bet Championship fixtures after receiving a straight red card for a tackle on Hayden Hackney in that fixture.
On the decision, Thorup said: "The rules are as they are, of course we follow the rules. It's three games for a situation where it's maybe in between a red and yellow.
"For the captain this Saturday, the player chosen will be one of the players in our leadership group but we haven't fully decided yet. We have to hear from some of the players as well."
Jacob Sørensen made his first return off the bench last weekend following some time out with a foot injury.
"We have to look at every possibility, he's a player where he will definitely have minutes, we will just find out where that will be."
On Borja Sainz's current form, the head coach said: "How I see football is what you do as a collective unit, creating the best possible opportunities for the players that can decide the games for you.
"I cannot sit here as a coach and take the credit for how he is finishing and his individual quality, that's down to him.
"He's doing everything he can to say as fit and as sharp as possible and don't forget he is playing near to 90 minutes every game."
On Josh Sargent, Hoff Thorup said: "I spoke to him the other day about how we need him more involved, we need him for our performance in the games.
"We have started this week to create some patterns that involve him a little bit more. There's more to come and it's for us as coaches to open up that door for him."
Cardiff currently sit in 20th in the Championship after a difficult start to the season but have recently recovered some form.
They are now unbeaten in five league fixtures.
"We have to be solid defensively and we have to avoid too many situations where they can break the line for us.
"It gives us some opportunities on the counter if we are good enough in defending. We have to create a structure that fits everything in the game, they are in form at the moment and it's going to be a tough one for us."
When asked about the supporters, Hoff Thorup said: "Not to sound arrogant at all, I think the benefit from trying to create a clear identity is that everyone can see what we are trying to do, and it's not just me, it's all the coaches, players and staff.
"What we tried to build is that identity for everyone to see, we try to be as open and honest as possible.
"When we're not playing well, we address it and when we play well we do the same; when people feel that, they feel connected closer.
"We have to connect the club to the fans because it's everyone together, I actually try to see it as a way that we are all losing or all winning.
"I hope that is the reason why we see such great support, even when we concede goals or we go behind, on Sunday the place was on fire and I can't even imagine what it feels like to be a player on that pitch."
