Johannes Hoff Thorup has held his first press conference ahead of the Sky Bet Championship opener against Oxford United on Saturday, August 10 (KO 12.30pm).
Summer signing José Córdoba and Ashley Barnes are the only two players currently unavailable through injury, with some hope for the Panama international to make his debut on the day.
"Jose is OK. We expect to see some game time for him soon," Hoff Thorup said.
"Saturday, maybe. He has done some training but we need to be a little bit cautious."
The Dane also spoke about Callum Doyle whose season-long loan was announced earlier in the week. The 20-year-old joins from Manchester City.
"His passing qualities are on a very high level, it's exactly what we need. A player we targeted a couple of months ago and had some good talks with him. He's someone we really like.
"He's very comfortable on the ball, he's in a good place. He had some minutes on the pre-season tour with Man City so he's not someone we need to work on getting into shape."
On outgoing players, Hoff Thorup paid tribute to Gabriel Sara while also addressing speculation surrounding both Jonathan Rowe and Adam Idah.
"He felt loved here. He felt it was his club and I hope we see him back here sometime," Hoff Thorup explained.
"It will always be difficult to replace a guy like him one-to-one. We're in the market to find players who will suit our game, but we have players who might be able to make the next step.
"They (Rowe/Idah) are training with the group, important players within the group. We can't affect if there are offers from clubs here and there. They're training well, performing well and their heads are here."
Oxford had success in the League One play-offs and are now preparing for life in the second tier, starting with this weekend.
However, the new Norwich boss is keen that his side are focused on implementing their own gameplan rather than over-analysing opposition.
"We are ready to go. We have had some good sessions here the last couple of days. We're getting close to knowing what the squad will look like. There's a good energy and dynamic.
"The most important part is what we do but we do have to know what they do as well. Hopefully what you will see is a Norwich team from Saturday to Saturday that looks like Norwich, no matter where we play.
"It has to be clear that we are building something here. We're changing the way we play and perform, the strategy in the club. That needs to be clear from day one. It won't be perfect but we need to perform knowing that."
