Johannes Hoff Thorup has confirmed that Ben Chrisene picked up a concussion against Derby County on Saturday and will be unavailable for the fixtures against Leeds United and Hull City.
"He suffered a mild concussion at the end of the game, so we just have to follow the protocol. We will rule him out for the next two games, 12 days in total," the Dane said.
Updating the press on Ashely Barnes and his injury concerns, Hoff Thorup added: "It's the Achilles, he struggled with this problem last season, he did everything he could to participate in the last game of last season and we will do everything we can to support him."
City now have two home games at Carrow Road in the space of just a few days, hosting Leeds on Tuesday night and Hull on Saturday.
"They are two good teams, we have to do everything we can with the players that we have available and are ready for the game.
"When you play three games in a week, you have to think about rotation. I think we are in an okay place, the changes we can make will give us something different.
"I liked the attitude from the players on Saturday after it went to 1-1, especially the 10-15 minutes after, that was really good.
"It was difficult, they've won every home game so far and haven't conceded a goal, we didn't go in expecting anything.
"It was an important game for us, we don't talk about results, everyone in football knows about winning. That's why it comes down to the performance."
Despite a hat-trick of goals from Borja Sainz on Saturday, Hoff Thorup was keen to celebrate Angus Gunn's important save towards the end of the game.
"We don't celebrate a save like a goal but you often tend to remember the strikers scoring the goals but it counts like a goal, like it did towards the end of the game. He's been a great part of the team, it was well deserved."
On Shane Duffy and his recent performances, the Norwich head coach said: "I'm so happy you asked me about him, he's been a really important player for both our hold-up game but also our way of defending.
"He was a little bit shaky pre-season, I was also in doubt as to whether we should start him but we took some steps and he is really engaging in the way we are trying to play, his mindset is so positive, and that's why he is performing."
Daniel Farke makes his return to Carrow Road Tuesday night for the third time since leaving the Canaries.
"I like the way (Leeds) play, they can find good positions in between the lines, it's a strong side so we have to make sure we do our best in every phase of the game.
"But, I like these kind of games as it shows what we are made of. We have to try to dominate as much as possible, accepting there will be moments in the game where we have to defend.
"I can feel he (Farke) is a figure that a lot of people still talk about here.
"He had a style fans appreciated, so I can definitely feel that and there will be great respect to show but hopefully we can give them a fight.
"We are in a place at the moment where we can expect to put in a strong performance, even though it's a good team.
"(The play-off semi-final away leg) was a tough one, you could see that.
"It's most important that we go out there, play our game, still play with risk, be front-footed, proactive in our approach.
"At the end of the day, when you sit in the dressing room after the match, ask yourself: 'Did we actually go out there and go for it?'"
