Billy Gilmour and Przemysław Płacheta could both feature in Dean Smith's squad for Saturday's game away to Manchester United.
Gilmour has recovered from Covid, while Płacheta is back from injury at Lotus Training Centre.
Josh Sargent is no longer wearing a protective boot, Smith confirmed in his pre-match press conference, but this game will come too early for him.
Andrew Omobamidele is waiting on a scan result in the next couple of weeks, but won't be able to play again this season.
Adam Idah isn't expected to play again this season. He has had an operation on his knee and is starting his rehab.
Brandon Williams is ineligible to play this weekend against his parent club.
