Johannes Hoff Thorup has held his press conference ahead of the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Sheffield United on Saturday, August 24 (KO 3pm).
The head coach confirmed that there are no new fresh injury concerns ahead of the game at Carrow Road on Saturday.
"I think it's the same. Lungi (Jacob Sørensen) is out, handful of weeks. Ashley Barnes is looking good, still going to plan. He's looking better than expected.
"Christian Fassnacht will be out for a while. It will be a matter of see how it goes for him."
Hoff Thorup also spoke about recent arrival Ante Crnac and what he will bring to the Canaries.
"A good technical player, who can cover many positions. A tall guy, so can give us something with headers and set plays, where he will be an important player for us.
"It needed to be a striker that had experience in playing more than just as a number nine. He's a guy who we're really excited to have in the building.
"I think he'll be in the mix and be competing for a starting position from day one."
Finally, the Dane also looked ahead to Sheffield United as well as highlighting the importance of giving opportunities to players already at the club.
"It's important we look at the players we have in the building. Gabe (Forsyth) against Blackburn, I don't think many people expected him to make his debut in our first home game. It's all about having that door open.
"It'll be a tough one. They come to us with Premier League tempo. We will have to be prepared, in possession and out of possession.
"We need solutions in all parts of the game. We need to see it as an opportunity when they defend low. It's all about the performance.
"Saturday, after the game, I was proud of the reaction from the fans. We feel that and it's important. It's hugely important for us tomorrow as there will be tricky moments. It gives us that boost.
"It's important that we can perform on a weekly basis, even though we are building. I expect that the team will be much better in October, but we need to get results and performances."
