Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup has confirmed that Anis Ben Slimane and Marcelino Núñez will return to the squad ahead of Saturday's fixture against Derby County.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Dane gave an update on a variety of players.
"Anis and Marcelino are back and have trained all week. It's a big boost. We've had a very good week, we could feel it. There's a great energy, but we take the learning from the wins and losses," he said.
"Potentially, they could both start. But we also play Tuesday night, so we might rotate a little bit. Find out what is best for Saturday and best for Tuesday. We need to be careful with some players, like with Josh (Sargent). It's a three-game week.
"He's (Onel Hernández) not available. He is still feeling something in his knee. We're looking at the back-side of the Hull game."
The head coach also spoke about the January arrivals and what they can bring to his squad in the second half of the season.
"He (Jacob Wright) is someone we considered early on in the window. It was natural for us and there was some point in the window where it wasn't realistic. There was an opportunity for us. It's as close to a no-brainer as it could be.
"He's not a hard-tackler, or that kind of six. He controls from the central areas and has a winning mentality, that's something that's been obvious in the first few training sessions. He's different compared to the other midfielders we have here.
"He's ready to go. Big credit to our recruitment team, as they find some really good players. It's realistic we can bring him into the team tomorrow, probably not from the start. He's more than ready."
He also gave updates on the other deadline day arrival from Brighton and Matěj Jurásek.
"His (Ruairi McConville) character and personality come out. He's eager to learn and wants to train those small details. He's a ball-playing centre-back, which is important for us. His first six months will be getting experience for the future, but one for the future.
"They arrive hungry. They want to get as much out of training as they can. They are so eager to learn and take the next step in their careers. That's interesting, but we need to find that balance. We still need (Kenny) McLean, (Shane) Duffy, (Angus) Gunn. That experience.
"(Jurásek) arrived on Tuesday and he's keen to be part of a team again. He will be in the squad tomorrow. We try not to put too much pressure on him in the beginning. He needs time, but he's a good player.
"He has a similar intensity to a game to Borja (Sainz). He likes to dribble, take on players. That's what we need. It's so good for us to have competition. He wants to be involved and has a fantastic left foot."
