Head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup has confirmed that City would be without defender José Córdoba for the remainder of the month.
He said: "There is some inflammation and he will be out for at least three games. It's different to what it was against Leeds. We hope to have him back for Queens Park Rangers."
On other injury updates around the squad, Hoff Throup said: "Marcelino (Núñez) has been back in training today, and had a big smile on his face. Tomorrow is too soon for his return though.
"Physically, (Angus) Gunn, (Liam) Gibbs and (Onel) Hernández are all fine after Saturday.
"It was part of the plan for Onel to be available for around half an hour and Gibbs slightly less.
"Gibbs is a fighter and can cover lots of positions for us.
"It was positive for the group that we could change the momentum.
"It obviously wasn't ideal for Onel to play 90 minutes for Cuba and we did not recommend that but that was out of our control and it's important minutes for him."
Vice captain Kenny McLean returns to squad selection tomorrow after serving a four-match ban for a red card.
"Just to have Kenny back in the group is great, he is a natural leader, he is one of the best midfielders in the league, I don't think I could find midfielders in the league who are a better fit for us than him.
"With him it's also the communication, the small adjustments, winning fouls, talking to team-mates, there is all this experience beside the technical and tactical stuff, all the things you don't see."
City's 2-2 draw against West Brom on Saturday saw a first goal for the Canaries' newest addition, Emiliano Marcondes.
"His best position is where we played him against West Brom, just behind the striker.
"We need him once in a while to drop a little deeper, he's a very good runner from that position in between the lines, anticipating where crosses can end and where he needs to arrive, which we saw with the goal.
"He is better when he has a striker in front of him."
Another new name for City's side for the season is Ante Crnac, who Hoff Throup said is still finding his way: "When you bring a player in from another country who is young, you can't expect things straight away but it's about finding that balance.
"I need more from him, more goals, more assists and the coaching group is working really hard to make sure that all players, especially the young ones are integrated.
"He had a big chance where he should score in the first half Saturday; he gets in a really good position, we just need the end product and we expect this will come. West Brom was a step in the right direction."
City's next Sky Bet Championship fixture sees Plymouth Argyle travel to Carrow Road on Tuesday evening.
"When I watch some of the first games of the season, I thought Plymouth were one of the best playing teams, some good movement, they bought Rami Al Hajj from the Danish league, which was a perfect fit for them.
"What we have to prepare for is that they will show up tomorrow night, they were doing well when they were trying to build from the back, so we just have to be prepared."
