Speaking in his press conference ahead of the Swansea City fixture, Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup suggested that José Córdoba will return to the squad.

The Panama international has been missing in recent weeks with a knee injury.

"It'll be the same group from Leeds United," Hoff Thorup said. "We're going to test José Córdoba to see if he can be on the bench and then potentially if we need him towards the end of the game.

"I think Josh Sargent is in a good place. It's hard to get back into fitness and shape. We've seen good things from him in the last two games and we will consider him as a starter.

"Gabe (Forsyth), we can expect to be part of training from next week. (Liam) Gibbs, we're unsure when he can be back with the team. (Amankwah) Forson has a very swollen knee and has had blood taken out of it. That's an injury where you take it day by day.

"Anis (Ben Slimane) can be part of team training next week but we will see how it goes. Marcelino (Núñez), it will be too soon for Watford but a possibility for Derby or Preston.

"He (Jacob Sørensen) is about to be part and has been part of team training. This weekend is too soon for him but we will see how he is assessed."

The head coach also spoke about Saturday's opponents, Swansea, and the threats they pose to the Canaries.

"It's been light (training), we were home late from Leeds. We've had one session to prepare for the game tomorrow. We need to keep the freshness and stick to what is most important for us tomorrow.

"It will be a tricky one. They like to control the game and build up from the back with the goalkeeper. A little bit fragile, but we will have to be prepared. They can go direct too.

"It's a physical league, so it's not a concern. It's our ambition to play a fast game, so we will try to avoid it. But we will play our football."
