Andrew Omobamidele won't be included in Tuesday's squad for our Carabao Cup round two game against AFC Bournemouth, Dean Smith confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Monday morning.
The defender had a sore ankle following Friday's win against Millwall and won't train with the team until Thursday this week.
Sam Byram is expected to return to the line-up for Tuesday's game, but Smith added that "we're still looking to try to bring a left-back in."
Adam Idah has trained and, while he isn't ready to start against Bournemouth, could come off the bench to get some minutes.
Gabriel Sara is also in contention, Smith confirmed.
