David Wagner has provided a squad update during his pre-match press conference ahead of the visit of Cardiff City to Carrow Road.
There was positive news on Teemu Pukki with the Finnish international returning to training with the intention to be involved tomorrow against Cardiff.
Unfortunately, it wasn't good news for Kieran Dowell who looks set to be out until late-April after picking up a knee injury against Birmingham City.
"If everything goes to plan, Teemu will train today. If that is without issue, he'll be in the squad," Wagner said.
"Kieran has a knee injury, he will be out until the second part of April. We wish him all the best and will support him to get back on the level that he has shown.
"He won't need surgery but it will take time. It happened very early, after five minutes when he had a great movement in the box. I was quite surprised after the game when I saw the diagnosis on the scan.
"We will miss him like we miss Josh, and we miss Teemu. But even though we've missed them, everyone has done their job and we haven't got carried away with injuries.
"We have hope that Josh will be back before the international break but not tomorrow and probably not Millwall."
He also held special praise for Marcelino Núñez following his brace against John Eustace's side on Tuesday night.
The Chilean scored twice and provided an assist for Christos Tzolis' injury-time goal.
"Apart from the goal, he played very well, he worked very hard. As a manager, I liked his second goal more, a proper number 10 run - a goal where there was strategy and plan behind it," Wagner explained.
"We should not underestimate, he is a young lad, 22, and has come here from South America. He had a dip in form but the important thing is you work against that, which is what he has done.
"He hasn't played in the central position very often but now he has done it to a high level, and deserves all the praise he gets for it."
Cardiff are the third team to arrive to Carrow Road in Norwich's last four fixtures with wins against Hull and Birmingham already under the belt.
And the head coach feels that those two wins are adding to the confidence of the side.
"It's not a secret that the last two home games, performance-wise and the result, were good games.
"Psychologically, they were important games too. We were 1-0 down but come back, and then concede very early after half-time and don't get affected.
"For us, and for the supporters, they hadn't won since October either. It was important for them to feel that if we're all together, we'll get these wins over the line. It gives to confidence to say we'll do it on Saturday as well.
"Whatever we face, we have to prepare for it. If they press high, we prepare for it. If they sit in a low midfield block, we'll prepare for it. I give all of my energy, and I have a lot of it, to the players and how to adapt to the situation."
