Head coach David Wagner confirmed that decisions on Jonathan Rowe and Przemysław Płacheta's fitness will be made tomorrow ahead of the Sky Bet Championship clash with Watford.
He also verified there were no further fitness worries from Saturday's win over QPR.
"We will see and assess tomorrow and will make a call tomorrow morning," he said.
"We have to look day-to-day with them both, neither is a major issue but nothing is decided yet."
Rowe picked up an injury prior to joining the England Under-21 camp during the international break and Płacheta suffered an injury to his foot outside of training.
Speaking of Ashley Barnes' return to the pitch, Wagner said: "Fitness-wise, he looked top, no issues with him.
"We will assess his fitness for tomorrow morning on whether he will or not start. I didn't expect him to play 90 in his first game back but he looked super fit, which is a big compliment for our fitness department."
On Angus Gunn and Adam Forshaw, he said: "They will be back after the Watford game and will be back in training.
"Hanley will hopefully be back the week after Bristol, but we have to see at the end of the week.
"Everything looks positive that he will be back in training soon."
City claimed three points on Saturday against QPR in a 1-0 win at Carrow Road, thanks to Hwang Ui-Jo's first-half goal.
"It wasn't the most entertaining game but in terms of expected goals conceded, it was the lowest we've had all season and this is a big step for us.
"It was big to keep a clean sheet and to score in this game was exactly what we wanted.
"We are trying to be more ruthless in both boxes and QPR was the first step.
"We have to make sure we keep continuing this \[momentum\], with in the back of our mind, some further players will be back to push for competition."
Gabriel Sara clocked up another assist on Saturday, taking his total to six assists and five goals.
"Gabby can score goals and give assists, everyone knows this, but he also has unbelievable numbers in terms of his physical stats as well.
"I think if you look at the technical point of view, he also made a big step. He is one of the main reasons why we look more stable."
The Canaries travel to Vicarage Road tomorrow to face Watford in an 8pm kick-off.
"Everybody knows their individual qualities, they lost against Leicester yesterday, but we will try to focus on ourselves.
"QPR had two good results before they played us, so we have to make sure that we continue our way, which we found before our international break.
"It's the players who win the games and we would like to keep this winning feeling, so we have to be on our best tomorrow night.
"They are a good opponent, so we have to make sure we keep the stability and we attack at our best."
On Watford's manager, Valérien Ismaël, he confirmed they did not cross paths in Germany.
"He trained in Bremen as well and had a good playing career. He has adapted his style; he was quite direct with West Brom and Barnsley, now they play more direct football.
"I'm excited about the game and the challenge in front of us. It's a great opportunity for us to show what we are capable of."
