Norwich City head coach David Wagner has confirmed that Josh Sargent will return to the squad for this weekend's Sky Bet Championship clash with Preston North End.
The USA international was given the week off prior to the FA Cup fixture against Blackburn following a busy window for him during November and December which included the FIFA World Cup.
"It looks like we have the same squad available, plus Josh who is back in training this week," Wagner said.
"Ben (Gibson) is making good progress, back on the grass next week in contention for Coventry. Sam Byram will take six to eight weeks after the injury he has faced.
"We are more than excited. We had a good week, three days of training, one day of double session. Not a whole lot of time but hopefully we can show some progression tomorrow.
"Every day helps to get used to each other a little bit more, to assess the picture. But, as I say, work isn't done in a week. We have to take it step by step and we will do.
"Everybody is excited, you can feel it in training. In the meetings, when we speak about how we like to play football, how we like to defend, everybody is on board."
Wagner also reserved praise for the support during his first game, the FA Cup third round defeat to Blackburn.
He also emphasised that the squad will need to feed off the energy of the crowd to play the style of football he is now looking to implement.
"We have nearly 1000 away travellers for tomorrow which is unbelievable, they'll give us everything we need. We have to start paying that back," the head coach stated.
"We will need energy from the stands to play this energetic, intensive football that we want to.
"It's important for me that everybody knows his role - and to invest every single second. If you get the starting shirt, good but if not, come on, there's more games after Saturday."
Wagner finished his press conference by fielding some questions on the wider squad - Academy players and those on loan.
As well as hailing the talent he has seen in the Under-21 side having watched their 3-0 win over Stoke City last Friday, he provided an update on Bali Mumba and Christos Tzolis.
"I've been told his name and I’ve seen some clips," Wagner said of Mumba.
"My first impression of the full-backs is positive. We will not call him back unless we can give him minutes and it is the right decision.”
"I was able to meet Christos, he trained with us once. There is no clause to call him back, he will stay at Twente until the end of the season."
