Head coach David Wagner has confirmed that Josh Sargent will miss Norwich City's next two fixtures, ruling him out of the games against Birmingham City and Cardiff City.

The head coach also confirmed that Teemu Pukki remains a doubt for tomorrow's game, and that he will make a late decision regarding the Finnish international.

However, Wagner did confirm that Marquinhos will return to the squad for Birmingham.

"Josh has an ankle injury, so unfortunately he will be out of tomorrow's game, and then the game at the weekend.

"Teemu is a doubt for tomorrow's game, and we'll make a late call on him. Marquinhos will be back in the squad for tomorrow's game, providing nothing extraordinary happens this afternoon."

Wagner also spoke about the opposition, Birmingham, as well as another Tuesday night fixture at Carrow Road.

"They're an experienced team, and nobody should look at the table or recent results. They're direct. We should look at ourselves to fight this.

"But I'm looking forward to another floodlight Tuesday night game at Carrow Road tomorrow."

The head coach says he will look to Adam Idah to fill the void left by Sargent and Pukki, highlighting the Irishman's qualities.

"He's a real, real talent. He's getting a lot of minutes under his belt, which he needs.

"I'm sure he can deliver physically, and we're sure we can get him to the level he needs to be."
