Norwich City head coach Philippe Clement confirmed that Mo Touré will miss the next four to six weeks, following the injury sustained in the midweek win against Sheffield Wednesday.
The Australian international was taken off after nine minutes at Carrow Road, with Clement confirming that he will be ruled out for an extended period of time.
"Mo has a muscle injury and will be out for four to six weeks, it's a disappointing one, of course. It's also the one nobody saw coming so fast in the game. He was at full speed and then in a duel out of balance and that caused it, so it's really unlucky one and we need to move on now," Clement explained.
"A few bits and bobs or assessments to be made tomorrow around some. But José Córdoba is back. Amankwah Forson will be in the selection. I need to make some assessments tomorrow with medical staff.
"It's about taking the right lessons out of that and to look forward to make things better now and towards the pre-season, to build the players to be more robust.
"I think there are several players who would take a good step for the team in general, if you see our physical data now compared with three months ago there's a big difference."
The Belgian also spoke about Jakov Medić's role as a striker on Wednesday night, saying that it's his job to prepare the squad in a number of ways and that he wants to look at solutions, rather than problems.
"It's a tough puzzle for me at the moment and we're busy with a lot of things to prepare it for plan A, B, C, D. The story with Jakov was already prepared a few weeks ago. That's our job to do, prepare for every situation and to be ready with the squad.
"The two players who were closest in the Under-21s, they went on loan in January. There is not anybody available who can play at the level of the Championship because they are very young now for the moment, so there are no answers in that way.
"All our strikers will score goals, but we need to create a team where the goals are not coming only from the striker. In the meantime, our wingers started to score goals, our midfielders started to score goals, our full-backs started to score goals. So that will stay our strength for the rest of the season and we're not only focused on the striker.
"I want to look at solutions, not only at the problems. I'm not going to do that because I believe in everybody in this building that they're going to do the job for the team even if If it's not in their position, like Tony Springett, who played left-back against Watford when three left-backs were out."
Clement also spoke about tomorrow's opponents Leicester City and the threats they will pose under recently-appointed head coach Gary Rowett.
"For me, their talent, the squad of Leicester is top three, top four in the league. They have a really talented squad with a lot of good players. I think he (Rowett) will also play in a different way because of that. That's my expectation.
"This league is really hard, for every point you need to fight. There are no easy games. Every time, you are going into that fight, that war, to get the three points. And that's really demanding. So there are no easy things.
"You have examples from the past already that teams coming out of the Premier League with a lot of ex-Premier League players who go to the League One, who are relegated out of this league. I don't think you have those situations in other leagues. That shows also how competitive this league is with the Championship and that everybody needs to be on their toes to get a result."
