Head coach David Wagner joined the local press on Wednesday afternoon to preview Norwich City's trip to Hull City on Friday night (KO 8pm).

Grant Hanley was taken off late on against Bristol Rovers and will need some time for a back issue to be assessed by the club's medical department.

"Adam Forshaw is ill, and will not train today," Wagner said.

"Grant has a minor back problem and we'll have to assess him over the next 10-14 days. Everyone else is fine."

Wagner also spoke about his striking options, with Josh Sargent now back from injury and Hwang Ui-Jo returning to Nottingham Forest.

"Ui-Jo has done well. He needed a little bit of time but you have seen he is a hardworking striker who was able to score goals, and has good technical ability. I wish him well.

"We have to work with Josh, he has to catch up on some match fitness but we are very happy to have him back. He won't be able to start three games in a week."

With two draws and two defeats in the last four games, Wagner also fielded questions on how to turn around that form.

The head coach believes that maintaining a positive mood within the dressing room can be a big step towards better results.

"The first and most important thing is the togetherness we have here in the dressing room, that's what is important for us to get back to a better, more successful period. It's the nature of the game. If your team wins, you are happy, if they don't win, you are not happy," he explains.

"We have to get consistency in our performances and results. There is a good platform here where you can start from, but there is a lot of work to do. Nobody should forget that it's a competitive division. We need to stick to our ideas and not get too far driven by emotions and atmospheres.

"Are we happy with the position we are in? No, we aren't. We want more points and a better position. The only one who can change it is us, we'll work hard for it. We have to change it and we will change it."
