Head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup has given some squad updates ahead of our trip to Vicarage Road.
He doesn't expect to have any new faces available as City head to Watford.
Anis Ben Slimane and Marcelino Núñez could feature next week against Derby County but it's still a wait on Amankwah Forson as well as Liam Gibbs and Gabe Forsyth.
"Not tomorrow, it's too soon for (Anis). The plan is he will be a part of training next week so he could be involved for Derby at home," Hoff Thorup said.
"Marcelino is also on his way back. The plan is for him to be integrated with the team and he could also be involved next Saturday too.
"(Forson) will also be a bit longer than expected. He had this knock to his quad and there's been a couple of times where they've had to drain blood from his leg. He still can't stretch it so he can't train, he hasn't been involved with us."
Both Tony Springett and Archie Mair have gone under the knife, with the latter now returning from his loan spell at Motherwell.
"(Archie) had surgery as well and had to come back. He's not training with us but it's very unfortunate when an injury like that happens, it'll be six weeks out. A very good opportunity for him is now the opposite."
With the transfer window still open until Monday, the Dane also hinted that the club may still look to get some business done.
He also indicated that there are no current outgoings from the senior squad.
"I hope that we can do a little bit here towards the end. We constantly want to build on the strategy, the team, find player profiles to fit how we want to play. We need to use every window to do that.
"For the minute, there's nothing really on the table. We try to prepare so we're not caught off guard if something does happen but it doesn't seem like that for the moment."
He finished by discussing tomorrow's opponents.
Watford are currently two points ahead of City in the league but have been enduring a difficult run of games.
"What we know is that they are good at home, they can bring a lot of physicality into the game when they need it. Off the ball, they're man to man. On the ball, they provide a threat between our midfield and back-line.
"It'll be a difficult but one but we have confidence in our performance. The Swansea game was a good one in terms of getting goals flowing again."
