Team News: City welcome Normann and Gilmour back for Wolves

Norwich City have Mathias Normann and Billy Gilmour back available for their trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup this weekend.

Norwich City have Mathias Normann and Billy Gilmour back available for their trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup this weekend.

Normann hasn't played since the end of November because of a pelvic injury, with Gilmour absent since December.

However the recent winter break has allowed the pair of them to get themselves back ready for action.

Other recent absentees Lukas Rupp and Andrew Omobamidele are both back on the training field but Saturday comes too soon for them.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Dean Smith said: "We've got Billy Gilmour back, Mathias Normann back. Lukas Rupp and Andrew Omobamidele are back on the grass but I won't consider them for Wolves as they're not quite ready. They'll be ready for Palace in the week.

"It's great to have four big players back for us who've been out for quite a few weeks."

However, Tim Krul and Jacob Sorensen remain sidelined after picking up injuries before the break.

"Tim Krul is still out, he's doing some light handling work at the moment. An operation wasn't required but we have to be careful with it being a shoulder injury.

"Jacob Sorensen is better than what we thought. It's a medial ligament injury, he's running on the grass and healing a lot quicker. He won't be out for too much longer."
