Teemu Pukki netted twice to help Norwich seal a sixth win in a row and keep the Canaries up in second place.
“It feels good, it’s always good to win. Maybe we didn’t play our best game but at least we got the three points and of course I’m happy with two goals as well. It’s good to be back scoring.
“Bristol were probably the best team we’ve played so far and they made it hard for us. It was not an easy game and we really had to fight for the three points.
“They did well today and they’re a good team so they will be up there fighting for promotion as well.”
The Fin netted his first after 11 minutes and his second was claimed at 23 minutes. Bristol responded through Conway just one minute before half time.
“Conceding right before half time is never a good time to concede and maybe in the last 15 minutes of the first half, we didn’t play at our level and we let them be in charge of the game.”
The entire Norwich City bench stood just behind the touchline before the final was blown, waiting as nervously as the rest of us for full time.
“It wasn’t easy to be on the bench in the final few minutes, so we were all happy we got the points in the end.”
City return to Carrow Road on Saturday to take on West Brom at Carrow Road.
“The games are coming fast, but that’s the Championship, so we need to get a good rest until then and I think we need to be better than we were today if we want to get points.”
