Teemu Pukki hopes to continuing his fine goalscoring form to help fire Norwich City back to the Premier League.

The Finn scored a sensational hat-trick in City's 7-0 demolition of Huddersfield Town on Tuesday evening, as the Canaries took a step closer to sealing a return to the top flight at the firs time of asking.

Speaking post-match, Pukki said: "We put a lot of hard work in training. It’s nice to see it come off today with results and performances like this.

"I want to score as many goals as I can. But winning the Golden Boot is not something I’m obsessed with. The aim is to score goals to help the team back to the Premier League.

"It was a nice game to be a part of. I enjoyed it a lot, we played pretty good football today.

"I’ve said it many times. I enjoy playing with these guys who are behind me. They are making it easy. It was deserved, 5-0 at half-time. That said everything about the first-half.

"I’ve played many games with two goals at this level. So I’m pretty happy to finally get the hat-trick.

"All of us got an assist as well today. It was a great performance from the whole team.

"We wanted to keep going [at half-time] and keep a clean sheet. That was the main message at half-time but we wanted to add a couple of goals to make our goal difference a bit better.

"We wanted to keep going and keep working hard and that’s what we did."
