Teemu Pukki says Norwich City have been incredibly focused on the training pitch this week, as they aim to right the wrongs of their defeat to Chelsea last weekend.
City welcome Leeds United to Carrow Road on Sunday (2pm KO) and, after their humbling defeat at the hands of the Blues last Saturday, Pukki says it's been a case of heads down and focus at the Lotus Training Centre over the past seven days.
"We’ve been training quite hard and I feel like we’re ready to get three points on Sunday," he said ahead of the game.
"It was a tough game last week, the biggest thing is to forget the game. It was a bad game from us, from all the players. I don’t think anyone could say they did a good job in that game.
“The most important thing is to just forget and we need to improve. We’ve been training quite hard this week on our tactics so we should be prepared for Leeds on Sunday."
"It’s a big game. They haven’t started so well either. They will come here with the pressure as well. We need that first win, what better place to do it than at home?"
Pukki has scored both of City's Premier League goals during a tough start for the team. In their opening nine games, they've faced the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Leicester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
“It’s been a tough start. We’ve played against some big teams. I would say a couple games before the Chelsea game, we already started doing better.
"We got a couple of clean sheets and especially against Brighton, we created enough chances to win that game. We’re getting closer to that win, we just need to forget that Chelsea game and remember the good things from before that."
Pukki is now targeting an upturn in fortunes for the Canaries, starting this weekend against Marcelo Bielsa's men.
"They were really good last year but they’ve had a tough start. I haven’t seen them so much enough to analyse their game. They have a good team, and it’s going to be a tough game. We need to be at our best to get a result.
“I would say there’s more games that aren’t against the big guns coming up, so now is a good opportunity to get some points."
