The Norwich City ticket office at Carrow Road is open all week (Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5pm, Saturday from 9.30am to kick-off) to provide digital ticketing assistance for any supporters who may require it.

Saturday saw the debut of digital ticketing at Carrow Road as a crowd of over 12,000 watched the Canaries beat NAC Breda 2-0 in their final pre-season friendly.

While the vast majority of supporters had a seamless experience and were able to enter Carrow Road without any issues, a small number needed additional support on the day.

With a much larger crowd due to be in attendance for the Millwall game, the club encourages all supporters to arrive earlier than normal, even if they are not expecting to have any issues, as many will be attending their first game with digital ticketing.

Below is a list of issues that emerged on Saturday that required supporters to seek additional support:

Screenshots

The scanners cannot read screenshots or images of your ticket, you must download your NFC (near-field communication) ticket to your Apple or Google Wallet and present it at the digital readers.

Download your ticket before you arrive

Some supporters had not downloaded their ticket and were struggling to do so outside the stadium. Please ensure you have downloaded your ticket as soon as possible and before travelling to Carrow Road.

Flip cases or wallets

If your phone is in a flip case or wallet-style case with cards, the NFC signal may not work properly. Take your phone out of the case before tapping in.

Norwich City App

Please note: Tickets are no longer accessible via the Norwich City app.

You must use Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android) to store and present your NFC ticket.

Android settings

If you’re using an Android phone:

Make sure NFC is turned ON.

Set your default 'Tap & Pay' app to Google Wallet – not your bank card app.

This helps your device communicate properly with the stadium’s ticket scanners.

Email confirmations

A reminder that e-mail confirmations are not tickets and will not grant you entry to the stadium. You will need to download your ticket from your email confirmation.

South Stand turnstiles

Supporters with tickets in the South Stand may use any South Stand turnstile. At the Breda game, queues were forming at some South Stand turnstiles while others were available to use.

Print at Home

You will need to follow the instructions on your printed ticket to fold it to fit into the barcode reader. Please do so before arriving at the turnstile to avoid delaying the entry of those behind you.
