Norwich City Women can confirm that club captain Megan Todd will depart the club at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

Norwich City Women can confirm that club captain Megan Todd will depart the club at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

Her departure follows on from her decision to retire from football.

Todd joined the Canaries in 2018 from Acle United and went on to play six seasons for Norwich City, making 94 appearances and scoring 26 goals.

During her time at the club, she also played a key role in securing three Norfolk County Cup titles and scored the winning goal in the women's team first Carrow Road game in 2023.

Head of women's football Flo Allen said: "Megan has lived and breathed Norwich City since joining the club; her leadership skills and commitment to the club have been exceptional.

"What she has done for Norwich City Women and continues to do for women’s football both on-and-off the pitch is incredible; a true testament to her leadership and hard work.

"Megan has paved the way for the next generation of players to thrive, and on behalf of everyone I would like to express immense gratitude to her and wish her the very best in her future endeavours outside of playing football.”
