Norwich City Under-23s forward Tom Dickson-Peters was delighted with his performance in Friday’s 5-2 win against Reading U23s.
Dickson-Peters netted a hat-trick to take his Premier League 2 Division Two total to 12 goals in 14 games so far this season.
“This is my second hat-trick of the season, so I can’t ask for much more,” he said.
His goals weren’t spectacular, but would be appreciated by experienced forwards for his ability to be in the right place at the right time - a hallmark of good positioning.
“The coaches make us get in the habit of chasing the rebounds, so I’ve been listening to them and it paid off today.”
Dickson-Peters’ goals and assists numbers are good, but Abu Kamara and Jonathan Rowe aren’t far behind with their figures this season.
“I got the three goals, but Abu and Jon deserve credit for that as well because it was their shots that I got the rebound from,” Dickson-Peters added.
