Jonathan Tomkinson and Dan Barden visited the The Nest on Thursday to meet a group of players on a residential trip at the Community Sports Foundation's facility in Horsford.
The City duo dropped in for a Q&A with the group, from Norwich City's Regional Development Programme, and were asked about their careers so far, nutrition, their aspirations, and teammates.
"I'm probably closest with Tony Springett," said Tomkinson, when asked about his friends in the squad.
"He's been back to my house in Texas and he's a guy I really get along with."
The group's week at The Nest has included fixtures against local grassroots teams and training on the Norfolk Hire Arena, the site's full-size 3G pitch, which is also home to Norwich City Women.
They've been hosted on-site, thanks to The Nest's residential and catering facilities.
