Norwich City Under-23's midfielder Tony Springett put on a great second-half performance in yesterday's Premier League 2 match, getting the assist for Kamara's late winner.
After a second half of pure domination from the Canaries, Springett was relieved to help City earn three points in their battle against a ruthless Burnley side.
"The first half was not really our best performance, I felt like we were kind of soft and when you're coming up against an opposition like Burnley, you know that they're very physical. They like to just go all the way in, no 50/50s.
"At half time Alan spoke to us and said we need to get stuck in more we just need to bring more energy to the game.
"And that's what we did, as you can see with the two late goals. This is why we play the game really, for feelings like that. I’m just over the moon right now."
Springett linked up well with both Abu Kamara and Flynn Clarke on multiple occasions to put the pressure on the visitors going forward.
"I feel like because me and Abu kind of grew up here together, this is our seventh year together and we signed at the same time, we always have that of bond. Before every game, I always tell him if I get down the line, make sure you're in the box because I'll get it in there.
"Flynn is new, but his personality is just like all the rest of us lads, he fit straight in."
Springett also talked about the impact Zimmermann had on the team in yesteday's match, as he played his first 45 minutes in a few months, after undergoing ankle surgery.
"It was a great experience to have him. He's just a born leader.
"I know the first goal was probably a bit disappointing but after that, as you can see we didn’t concede and that was probably down to his communication, even though he came off at half time, I feel like he still led the back line."
