Norwich City Under-21s began their Premier League Cup campaign with a 2-2 draw against Wolves at the Lotus Training Centre.
Borja Sainz played 45 minutes, as he continues his recovery from injury, while there were opportunities for both Caleb Ansen and Uriah Djedje who made their first competitive starts at this age level.
The away side took the lead early on through Ethan McLeod, who fired beyond Ansen for the opener.
But Norwich wouldn't be behind for long. Jaden Warner produced a brilliant ball forward, which Ken Aboh latched onto brilliantly, and he finished confidently beyond the goalkeeper for the equaliser.
Sainz came closest to finding the goal to put the Canaries ahead, as his venomous effort hit the crossbar before being cleared.
Norwich would go ahead eight minutes into the second half. Adian Manning's free-kick hit the inside of the post, and Harry Brooke reacted quickest to fire in the rebound.
Aboh almost added his second, and Norwich's third, with a header as he got across to meet Waylon Renecke's cross but couldn't quite guide it on target.
Wolves would find a late leveller, as Leon Chiwome finished from close range to secure a point.
The Under-21s return to Premier League 2 action on Friday night, as they travel away to face Everton (KO 7pm).
