Norwich City Under-18s were 3-2 winners over their Ipswich Town counterparts as they continue their pre-season preparations.

Alex Roberts, Pedro Amadou and Damari Daley were all on the scoresheet as Greg Crane's side recorded another win in pre-season.

The game's first chance fell to the Canaries, as Elliot Myles had an attempt from long range saved by the goalkeeper.

Ipswich would open the scoring, as the away side found a way beyond Caleb Ansen.

The Canaries went in search of an equaliser, and almost found an immediate response as Roberts hit the crossbar.

It would be Roberts who would find the leveller. After a quick breakaway, Amadou's pass was perfect for Roberts, who fired into the bottom corner.

A penalty was then awarded to Ipswich, as they had the golden opportunity to re-take the lead, but Ansen saved brilliantly with his feet to keep the scores equal.

Norwich would take the lead for the first time in the game shortly after, as Toby Chilvers' cross was met at the front post by Amadou.

And it would be three before half-time, as Daley added another goal. A Myles free-kick caused chaos in the area, with the ball eventually falling to Daley who fired in.

The game's second half was quieter than the first, with the visitors pulling a goal back 10 minutes after the restart.

Myles had a couple of chances to add to the scoreline. The first, an ambitious lob from long range almost caught the keeper out, before he hit the post with a volley.

La'Sean Sealey had the game's last chance, seeing his effort parried away by a strong save from the goalkeeper.

The Under-18s conclude their pre-season campaign with an away fixture against Wolves on Saturday, August 5.
