Norwich City Under-18s were beaten by their Leicester City counterparts on Saturday afternoon, losing 4-2 at the LCFC Training Ground in Seagrave.

The game's first chance fell to the Canaries after only three minutes, as Finley Welch's attempt was saved by the goalkeeper.

Leicester would take the lead after 14 minutes, however, as Amani Richards opened the scoring.

Norwich would have a few attempts as they went in search of an equaliser. Welch, Waylon Renecke, and Ken Aboh all saw their shots saved.

And the Foxes would double their lead through Reece Evans, who scored from close range.

Both goalscorers would combine for Leicester's third goal of the first half, as Richards assisted Evans to score just before the break.

Leicester would add a fourth goal three minutes after the break, as Trey Nyoni fired beyond Henry Bullen.

Aboh pulled a goal back for Norwich with just under 20 minutes left, finding the bottom corner from Ben McCabe's pass.

Eight minutes from time, Aboh would score his, and Norwich's, second goal of the afternoon, with Renecke claiming the assist.

Despite pulling two goals back, Leicester would hold on and claim all three points.
