An injury-time winner from Birmingham City condemned Norwich City Under-18s to defeat in the Under-18 Premier League South.
In the game's first half, both sides would register chances. Riquelme Thompson-Jones saw a header saved by Niko Tkaczuk in the Norwich goal, before Reuben Cooper's effort was saved at the other end.
But just before half-time, Birmingham took the lead. Salif Bamba fired in for the Blues to put them ahead at the break.
Finlay Corke nearly equalised for the Canaries just after the hour mark, but saw his shot hit the post from a tight angle.
Zach Sclare and Henry Edwards helped to ramp up the pressure for a leveller, both coming close with their respective chances.
That pressure would lead to a Norwich equaliser. Corke was set up by Edwards and scored into the bottom corner with five minutes to go.
However, in the first minute of injury time, Birmingham would find a winner. Tobey Ugorji scored the goal that gave the home side all three points.
The Under-18s travel away to Chelsea next weekend in their next Under-18 PL South fixture.
