Brighton went ahead just before the 20-minute mark, as Adam Brett found the bottom corner from Jacob Parsons' pass.

The Canaries went in search of an equaliser, with Jake Glossop's effort from range forcing the Brighton 'keeper into a save.

Ajay Tavares put an effort wide of the post, as Norwich went into half-time a goal down.

A few minutes into the second half, Parsons scored from the spot to double the Seagulls' lead.

Finlay Corke reduced the deficit only two minutes after Parsons' penalty, firing in from close range.

Just after the hour mark, Brighton restored their two-goal advantage as Liam Crutchett fired into the bottom corner.

Shortly after, Jesse Middleton added a fourth for the home side.

There would be two late goals, as Glenn McCourt scored his first goal for Norwich. However, in the third minute of stoppage time, Billy-Ray Cullinane added a fifth.

The Under-18s are back at home after the international break, as they welcome Southampton to the Avant Training Centre.
