Norwich City Under-18s were knocked out of the FA Youth Cup, losing 5-1 against Burnley in the fourth round at Carrow Road.

Norwich created the first chance of the game, as Ben Tree's deflected effort was held by Connor Edwards in the Burnley goal.

Kian McMahon-Brown threatened for the away side, seeing his effort saved by Jack Ruddy.

Tree had a couple of opportunities for the Canaries, seeing two shots denied by the Burnley defence.

Just after the half-hour mark, Burnley took the lead from the spot as McMahon-Brown scored his penalty.

Four minutes into the second half, McMahon-Brown latched onto a defensive error to fire in from close range and double Burnley's lead.

And five mintues later, Burnley had a third as McMahon-Brown completed his hat-trick.

Norwich were reduced to 10 men just after the hour mark, as Jake Glossop was sent off for a rash challenge.

The Canaries did pull a goal back, as Finlay Corke headed in from Jeremiah Sinclair-Brown's cross.

Burnley added a fourth goal as George Brierley pressed high to win the ball and squared to McMahon-Brown who tapped into an empty net.

The Clarets added a fifth goal through Brieden Derbyshire late on.

The Under-18s return to Under-18 Premier League South action this weekend as they face Tottenham Hotspur away from home.
