Under-18s Report | Norwich City 2-2 Manchester City

Norwich City Under-18s began their Under-18 Premier League Cup campaign with a 2-2 draw at home to Manchester City.

The away side started out as the brighter one and came close through Rhys Thomas coming close with an effort.

Manchester City's fast start was rewarded as Matthew Warhurst fired beyond Jack Ruddy to put them ahead.

The Canaries would be behind for just over 10 minutes, as La'Sean Sealey found the top corner from long range to equalise for Greg Crane's side.

And Norwich would go into half-time ahead as Finlay Oligbo's free-kick nestled into the back of the net after Toby Chilvers was fouled.

However, three minutes into the second half there would be an equaliser. Warhurst netted again, as a deflected effort managed find its way in.

Neither side were able to find a winner as they shared the points in the Under-18 PL Cup.

The Under-18s are back in league action on Saturday, as they host Fulham (KO 1pm).
