Norwich City Under-18s came from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw at home to Southampton in the Under-18 Premier League South.
Southampton would register the first chances of the game, as Oliver Newman had a shot blocked before putting another one wide.
Moses Sesay was next to threaten for the away side, seeing a free-kick go off-target.
Finlay Corke had Norwich's first opportunity in the first half, almost finding the bottom corner but for a smart stop from Oscar Abbotson in the Southampton goal.
Norwich had the perfect opportunity to go in front as Miles Bracking was felled in the area and won a penalty, but La'Sean Sealey was denied from the spot by Abbotson.
Just before half-time, Southampton were ahead. Nicholas Oyekunle scored a free-kick to put the Saints in front.
There was almost an immediate response from the Canaries as Toby Chilvers hit the post.
In the second half, Norwich went in search of an equaliser but chances from Rio Mundle and Sonny Rowland were thwarted.
Similarly, Mundle and Corke were denied by a resolute Southampton defence.
But it would be Southampton who would score the game's next goal. Newman was found by Josh Pitts and found the top corner.
Three minutes later, Norwich did pull a goal back. From a corner, the ball eventually fell to Sealey who finished into the bottom corner.
And less than 10 minutes later, the game was level. Corke finally got his goal, firing beyond Abbotson to find the Norwich equaliser.
Bracking could've won it in stoppage time for Norwich but his header was saved.
Southampton were reduced to 10 men in the fifth minute of injury time as Korban McMullan picked up his second yellow.
Greg Crane's Under-18s return to action on next weekend, as they host Derby County in the Under-18 Premier League Cup.
