Norwich City Under-18s exited the FA Youth Cup at the fifth round after defeat against West Bromwich Albion at Carrow Road.
The Canaries made a bright start to the game and were ahead inside 10 minutes as Finlay Oligbo found the top corner brilliantly with a free-kick.
But West Brom would hit back four minutes later as Divine Onyemachi headed in at the second attempt to equalise.
And two minutes later, the Baggies had turned the game on its head as Cole Deeming surged forward and finished beyond Henry Bullen.
Finlay Corke came closest to finding a Norwich equaliser before the break, bringing down a long throw before seeing an improvised volley saved by West Brom goalkeeper Louis Brady.
La'Sean Sealey was the architect behind a couple of Norwich chances at the start of the second half. First, teeing up Corke who rounded the 'keeper before firing wide from a tight angle. His second chance saw a cross take a wicked deflection and almost caught out Brady.
But West Brom would soon add a third, as Rio Parmar latched onto a loose pass and finished well.
The third goal seemed to spark Norwich back into life and they pulled a goal back through Elliot Myles, who curled brilliantly into the bottom corner.
West Brom would seal the game, however, as Ollie Bostock surged forward and found the bottom corner with a nice finish.
