The Norwich City Under-18 side were defeated 3-0 by Fulham in the Under-18 Premier League at Motspur Park.

The damage was done in the first half as Fulham took that unassailable three-goal lead into the interval following a powerful start.

Aaron Loupalo-Bi and Lemar Gordon had both found the net inside the first five minutes leaving Greg Crane's side with a huge hill to climb.

That task became greater when Tom Olyott bagged their third just before the whistle for half-time.

The second half was more assured from City in front of their own goal but they failed to break down the home side.

Loupalo-Bi opened the scoring when he latched on to a looping ball and slotted past Giller just seconds into the contest.

Gordon then made it two in the third minute when he flicked the ball onto his right and firing to the net.

City did have chances once they found their feet coming up to the half-hour mark with Alex Matos and Michael Reindorf threatening, but to no avail.

Fulham grabbed a third on the stroke of half-time when Olyott found the top corner with a left-footed strike. City had further opportunities in the second half but would ultimately be kept at bay.

Prior to that third Fulham goal, play had been suspended for an extended period as City defender Benjy McCabe received treatment to an injury.

All at the club would like to wish him a speedy recovery.
