Norwich City Under-21s produced an emphatic performance as they were 4-0 winners over Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League 2 on Friday night.
The Canaries started out as the brighter side, as Pedro Lima almost opened the scoring within a couple of minutes. After a loose Blackburn pass, the Brazilian almost lobbed 'keeper Jordan Eastham from 30 yards, with the goalkeeper clawing it back out from the line,
Vicente Reyes did well to react, as he was called into action to save from Zack Stritch's effort.
Finley Welch was next to threaten for Norwich, as he ducked and weaved beyond a couple of defenders before seeing his shot blocked.
A clever free-kick routine almost resulted in a Norwich opener, as Adian Manning's half-volley flew past the post.
But after 11 minutes, Ken Aboh would open the scoring. The striker raced through on goal and fired beyond the goalkeeper.
Welch came close to a Norwich second as he got on the end of a Guilherme Montóia cut-back, but it was collected by the goalkeeper.
Norwich would add a second after 33 minutes, as Montóia's cross was met by Lima to head in.
The second half continued with more Norwich dominance, as Welch saw come close with two chances.
And it would be three on the hour mark, as Aboh added his second of the evening. Welch's initial effort was parried by the goalkeeper, with Aboh reacting quickest to score.
Harry Brooke's curled effort almost resulted in a fourth goal, but a hand from Blackburn 'keeper Eastham tipped it around the post.
Joe Duffy would be the player to make it four, as he fired in from close range after Lima's shot was saved.
The Canaries ran out as routine winners, and will look to carry their form into Monday's trip to Stoke City.
