The Norwich City Under-21 side enjoyed a 3-0 home PL2 win over Stoke City at the Lotus Training Centre.
Two first-half goals from Abu Kamara and Tyrese Omotoye had set the young City side on their way before Thomas Dickson-Peters settled the contest just past the hour mark.
Despite Stoke having the first couple of chances, both falling to Emre Tezgel, it was the Canaries who would go ahead.
A flowing move down the right hand side, involving good work by Dickson-Peters saw the striker pull the ball back into the path of Kamara who finished coolly.
Stoke tried to respond and when the referee pointed to the spot for a handball, they had the perfect opportunity.
Jon McCracken had other ideas and sprung to his right, smothering Tezgel's effort to maintain the City lead.
The hosts put themselves on the front foot again and Kamara could have had a second, instead unselfishly pulling back towards Dickson-Peters but the pass was cut out.
The second did arrive on the stroke of half-time when Clarke and Shipley constructed a short corner before crossing to the unmarked Omotoye at the back post and he diverted it home.
The shot-stopper McCracken continued his impressive personal performance with an inch-perfect kick from his hands to put Dickson-Peters away.
The striker was fouled on the edge of the Stoke penalty area before firing a free-kick off the crossbar.
He wouldn't have to wait too long for his goal though. When David Okagbue dallied on the ball for too long, TDP pinched it and found the bottom corner.
