Norwich City Under-21s drew 2-2 at home to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League 2 on Friday night.
The Canaries started out as the brighter side, and Ken Aboh almost latched onto a long ball from Waylon Renecke, but it was just out of reach.
Finley Welch and Guilherme Montóia combined well, with the Portuguese full-back delivering in a cross that was cleared well.
Harry Brooke registered the game's first chance, as he struck Aboh's pass first-time, but it was straight at the goalkeeper.
Aboh would be involved again, as he was fed the ball after Welch's spin. The shot was wide of the target, however.
The away side would register chances of their own, with Ellis Craven producing two brilliant saves to keep the scores level.
Forest did come the closest to an opener in the first half, as Brandon Aguilera's shot clipped the crossbar before going out for a goal-kick.
Welch and Montóia would combine well once again just before the break, with a square ball resulting in a good stop from Welch's shot.
The Canaries took the lead early into the second half as Adian Manning found the top corner with a thunderous effort.
Welch doubled the lead not long after. Manning's drive across goal was flicked goalwards by Aboh and hit the post, with Welch firing in the rebound.
Nottingham Forest did pull one back through Brandon Aguilera who fired beyond Craven.
And they'd be level shortly after as Alex Mighten reacted quickest after an initial effort hit the crossbar.
The Under-21s are back in action next week, hosting Chelsea at Carrow Road.
