Norwich City Under-21s fell to a 2-0 defeat against Ipswich Town in pre-season.

Two second half goals condemned Alan Neilson's side to defeat on Tuesday afternoon as they continued their pre-season preparations.

In a game of few chances, Kenny Coker registered the first half-chance as his deflected cross was claimed by the goalkeeper.

Dubem Eze saw an effort saved well, before Coker came close after rounding the goalkeeper but the tight angle went against him as his shot was wide.

Ipswich would take the lead just before the hour mark, scoring from the penalty spot.

Finley Welch was close to an equaliser for the Canaries, but saw his goal-bound effort blocked on the line by a defender.

The away side added a second goal 20 minutes from time, with Norwich unable to find a way back into the game.
