Norwich City Under-21s had to settle for a point in the PL2 after a goalless draw away at Sunderland on Friday (January 13) afternoon.
The game's first half saw Norwich register the first shot on goal. Ben Watt had an effort, but saw his shot saved by Jacob Carney.
Norwich then came close to opening the scoring from a free-kick, with Sean Stewart's effort curling just wide of the post.
Alan Neilson's Under-21s side went even closer to the game's opener, as Harry Brooke's long-range shot hit the crossbar.
Sunderland would register a couple of chances in the first half, with Ellis Taylor and Tom Scott having shots before the break.
In the second half, Joe Duffy had a shot off target before Jon McCracken was forced into a save to deny Owen Robinson.
