Norwich City Under-21s play their first game in the Under-21 Premier League Cup on Friday night, hosting Colchester United at the Avant Training Centre (KO 7pm).
Prior to the international break, Olly Lee's side picked up their first win of the season as they beat Everton 2-1 at Carrow Road. Dylan Jones scored twice in NR1.
They now begin their PL Cup campaign and are joined by Bromley and Sunderland in the group.
The opposition
Colchester, who are a category two academy, play their football in the Professional Development League South and have won three of their four league games.
They've claimed wins over Wigan Athletic, Huddersfield Town and Coventry City, but fell to defeat against Sheffield Wednesday at the start of the month.
