Alan Neilson's side were 2-1 winners away to Reading in their previous fixture, with Brandon Forbes and Errol Mundle-Smith on the scoresheet in Premier League 2.
Three points in Berkshire meant the Canaries sit 12th in the PL2 table after six games played. Attention now switches to the PL Cup, where Norwich will hope to claim their first points of the competition.
The Under-21s fell to defeat in their opener in the tournament, with Exeter City winning 2-1 at St James Park last month.
Bristol City were 2-0 winners at home to Bromley in their PL Cup opener and play their league football in the Professional Development League 2.
