Norwich City Under-21s progressed into the semi-finals of the Norfolk Hire Senior Cup with a 2-0 win over King's Lynn Town Under-23s.
The first half was a quiet one, with lack of chances for both sides. Errol Mundle-Smith and Marcel McIntosh came close.
Five minutes into the second half, the Canaries were in front. Gabe Forsyth's free-kick curled into the bottom corner.
Elliot Myles had a chance to double the lead, but his touch was too heavy as the goalkeeper claimed it.
Adian Manning came off the bench to score Norwich's second, reacting well from McIntosh's cross.
Late on, the Canaries almost added a third. Myles met a Dubem Eze cross but saw it tipped over the bar.
Alan Neilson's side travel to Reading in their next Premier League 2 clash on Monday.
