Norwich City Under-21s had to settle for a point in the Under-21 Premier League Cup, drawing 2-2 away to Bristol City.
The game's first chance of the game led to the opening goal. Billy Phillips was fouled just outside the area, and Marley Rose found the top corner with the resulting free-kick.
Olly Thomas almost added a second for the hosts, as he dribbled beyond a number of Norwich defenders before seeing his shot hit the post.
A short corner from Norwich saw Elliot Myles clip the ball into the box which was headed towards the back post by a Bristol City defender, but Jonathan Tomkinson couldn't get enough on it to guide it on target.
Uriah Djedje and Adian Manning both registered chances for the Canaries as they went in search of an equaliser, but Lewis Thomas in the Bristol City goal did well to deny the attempts.
Olly Thomas had a couple of chances to extend the home side's lead, with the Robins going into the break ahead.
Tom Finch produced a fantastic stop to deny Bristol City from doubling their lead, getting across to save from Billy Phillips' effort.
Norwich would find their leveller in the second half. Tony Springett surged forward and put the ball on a plate for Dan Ogwuru to score.
But the Canaries would only be level for three minutes, as Josh Stokes scored from the spot to put Bristol City back ahead.
Djedje levelled for Norwich four minutes from time, flicking in a header beyond the goalkeeper from Brandon Forbes' cross.
The Under-21s return to action next week, as they're back in Premier League 2 action away to Aston Villa on Monday, December 2 (KO 7pm).
