Norwich City Under-21s fell to defeat in the Under-21 Premier League Cup, losing 2-1 away to Bromley.
The game's first chance lead to the opening goal, as Marcus Dinanga turned and finished brilliantly beyond Caleb Ansen.
Finley Welch was close to an equaliser for Norwich. His surging run and shot was palmed away by the Bromley goalkeeper.
Errol Mundle-Smith was next to threaten, jinking beyond a couple of markers before firing across goal. Botan Ameen couldn't quite reach the effort.
On the half-hour mark, Norwich were level. Alan Domeracki's corner was headed in by Theo Adelusi.
But only four minutes later, the home side were back in front as a ball across goal was diverted into his own goal by a Norwich defender.
In the second half, there were opportunities for Norwich to level. First, Mundle-Smith's effort was palmed away, before Tyler Williams' first-time volley was just wide of the post.
But Bromley would hold on claim all three points.
The Under-21s are back in action on Tuesday, December 2, as they travel away to Colchester United in the Under-21 PL Cup.
