Norwich City Under-21s fell to a 1-0 defeat away to their Leeds United counterparts in Premier League 2 on Monday evening.
Olly Lee named an unchanged side from last week's win away to Newcastle United for the game at the LNER Community Stadium, home of Enterprise National League side York City.
The game's first chance fell to the home side, as Jayden Lienou's side-footed effort hit the crossbar and bounced out for a goal-kick.
Leeds' strong start would lead to the opening goal. A cross was whipped across goal and eventually fell to Connor Douglas who fired beyond Rylee Mitchell.
In the second half, the Canaries' best chance fell to Dylan Jones. Vatan Özcan's whipped ball was met by the striker, but his stretched effort was parried over the crossbar by the Leeds goalkeeper.
Late on, Norwich saw efforts from Finley Welch and Zach Baumann denied by the Leeds defence, who held on for all three points.
The Under-21s are back in Premier League Cup action on Friday, October 10, as they travel away to the Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground to face Sunderland (KO 7pm).
