Norwich City Under-21s fell to a 5-0 defeat away to their Manchester City counterparts in Premier League 2 on Friday night.
The home side took the lead early on, as Emiliano Lawrence broke into the area and fired beyond Tom Finch.
Norwich's first chance of the game saw Dan Ogwuru cross into AJ Bridge, whose effort was over the crossbar.
Brandon Forbes and Errol Mundle-Smith had half-chances for Norwich, but were unable to find a way beyond the Man City 'keeper.
Less than two minutes into the second half, the hosts had doubled the lead through Reigan Heskey who tapped in from Charlie Gray's cross.
Finch was called into action to deny a third goal, saving well from Michael Okeke's effort.
The home side would find their third goal, as Reigan Heskey capitalised on a loose pass to finish beyond Finch.
And the home side added a fifth in injury time through Will Dickson.
Our Under-21s are back in action on Tuesday night, hosting Danish side FC Nordsjaelland in the Premier League International Cup at Carrow Road (KO 6pm).
