Norwich City Under-21s fell to defeat in Premier League 2, losing 2-0 against their Fulham counterparts at the Avant Training Centre.
The first chance of the game would lead to the opener as Tom Wingate's glanced header from Tom Olyott's cross nestled into the far corner.
AJ Bridge and Botan Ameen combined well shortly after the opening goal, with the former firing over the crossbar.
Elliot Myles got on the end of a good ball forward from Luke Towler, but the Fulham goalkeeper was quick off his line to snuff out any danger.
In the second half, Ameen did well to get beyond a couple of defenders but his shot was deflected wide.
Toby Chilvers then won the ball high up the pitch and nearly caught the goalkeeper out with a dinked effort, but it was wide of the post.
But it was Fulham who scored the next goal. In a similar situation to the first goal, Wingate headed in from an Olyott cross.
Norwich would register late chances through Ameen and Billy Gee but the game would end in defeat for Olly Lee's side.
The Under-21s are away to Leicester City in their next PL2 fixture on Monday, February 9.
