Norwich City Under-21s fell to defeat in Premier League 2 on Friday night, losing 3-0 at home to Wolves.

Wolves went ahead inside two minutes, as Charlie Wilson headed into his own goal.

In a quiet first half of football, Norwich's best chances of the half both fell to Zach Baumann. The first saw a save from Alfie Brooks, before his later attempt was narrowly wide of the post.

Three minutes into the second half, Wolves doubled their lead. A ball across goal was diverted goalwards once again by Wilson.

On the hour mark, Wolves added a third in fantastic fashion. From long distance, Ethan Sutherland bent his effort with the outside of his boot and found the top corner.

In the second half, Botan Ameen's floated cross nearly resulted in the Canaries pulling a goal back, but Toby Chilvers' header was saved well.

Wolves would run out as comfortable winners at the Avant Training Centre.

The Under-21s travel away to face West Ham United in their next league fixture on Friday, January 23 (KO 7pm).
