Norwich City Under-21s had to settle for a point in the Under-21 Premier League Cup, drawing 1-1 at home to their Bristol City counterparts.
The away side were ahead inside five minutes, as Raphael Araoye fired in from close range after Tom Finch saved well from an initial first effort.
Norwich had the perfect opportunity to equalise, as they were awarded a penalty, but Elliot Myles saw his spot-kick saved by the goalkeeper.
In a quiet first-half, the Canaries registered half-chances through Errol Mundle-Smith but were unable to find an equaliser.
Two minutes into the second half, however, the Canaries were level. Myles played through Mundle-Smith who dinked the on-rushing goalkeeper to equalise.
Mundle-Smith came close to giving Norwich the lead after being put through by AJ Bridge, but it was a strong stop from Casa Grande.
Bridge then came close with an effort of his own, seeing his curled shot go over the crossbar.
There could've been a late winner for Norwich as Mundle-Smith fired a ball across goal, but it was just in front of Alex Roberts.
Harmony Okwumo came within a whisker of winning for the Canaries in injury time, seeing his effort flash just wide of the post.
Alan Neilson's side are back in Premier League 2 action next Friday (October 25), as they host Sunderland at the Avant Training Centre.
